Matchday Recap

It was another tough result for United in the Netherlands as AZ dominated the match and the red devils failed to get even a single shot on target.

The 19-years old Brandon Williams was handed a debut for United after Solskjaer made eight changes from his team that started in the last match. Angel Gomes and Mason Greenwood also started but United still struggled to score.

Myron Boadu's attempt was ruled offside in the 11th minute which almost put AZ in the lead.
De Gea was once again the hero for the Red Devils as he resisted all shots from AZ.

Arsenal showcased some brilliant football in their win against Liege at the Emirates Stadium.
A brace from the 18-years old Gabriel Martinelli gave the Gunners a two-goal advantage after only 16 minutes, and Joe Willock and Dani Ceballos added salt in the Liege wound.

The Frenchman Willy Boly gave Wolves a dramatic victory on their visit to Besiktas by scoring a goal at the 93rd minute.
