The Best Season in the History of Real Madrid

Real Madrid is one of the best European Clubs in the history of football. With 13 European titles and 33 LaLiga titles, the royal club has seen a fair share of its glory days and is working hard to win a title this season too.

The 2016/17 batch of Real Madrid has claimed to experience the greatest season in its history. The 2016/17 campaign came to an end with no less than four titles which is a feat that has never been achieved by the club.

The season began in August with a bang after they won against Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup. It was the third in the Whites' trophy cabinet which was claimed in Trondheim (Norway) after another epic clash.

The Club World Cup was the next title to fall in the hands of Galacticos. The Whites won the tournament that took place in Japan by beating Kashima Antlers in the final. The match was decided in extra-time, just as in the European Super Cup.

The Persistence of Zizou's side throughout the year was eventually rewarded with Real Madrid's 33rd LaLiga title. They fought until the final game at La Rosaleda to be crowned as champions. They finished three points ahead of their main rivals Barcelona. History was made as the Los Blancos ended the season having scored in every single game.

The win at Cardiff was the icing on the cake for Real Madrid as they won 1-4 against Juventus, which came to be known as the Duodécima.

With Ronaldo gone, Real have not been the same lately. He had the same effect on Los Vikingos as he had on Manchester United when he left the club. Real lost their top goalscorer and faced the circumstances of it.

However, with the new squad having starlets like Hazard and the young talent Vinicius Junior, Real Madrid are coping well this season. Benzema has shown what he is capable of by scoring most of the goals for Real Madrid.

Let’s see what will be the result at the end of the campaign for Real Madrid.
